THIS GIRL CAN SALFORD
Following the success of the This Girl Can Salford 2016/17 campaign, we've launched our search for the 2018 This Girl Can Salford Ambassadors, to help inspire women of all shapes, sizes and abilities to embark on a more active lifestyle and to celebrate sport in the city.

According to the Active People Survey by Sport England, 63% of women in Salford did not partake in any sport, and we want to change this.

We're searching for some real life inspiration, and want women to tell us their stories about their association with sport, health and fitness.

So, if you've rediscovered fitness after a year away, have a lifelong dedication to sport, are committed to group fitness, or have used sport to overcome a difficult time, we want to hear your story about achieving your goals.

We'll choose the most inspiring stories, and these women will have the chance to front our ongoing campaign. We'll share the stories on our website and across our social media channels, to inspire more women to become active. The Ambassadors will be invited to the Salford Sports Network Awards dinner at the Novotel, Worsley on 22nd September.

Tell us your story, or nominate an inspiring friend, family member or work colleague by completing our nomination form.

Deadline for entries is Friday 21st July 2017.
